The Geneva EMBA: expanding your professional universe

We have entered an era where environmental challenges, governance requirements, and artificial intelligence have become key variables in economic models. These changes, while eliminating certain opportunities, also open up immense areas of activity. Historian Dipesh Chakrabarty, in his recent analysis of contemporary crises, emphasizes that “while the planet is indeed one, humans live in different worlds.” Managers, previously focused on managing, will inevitably be engaged in a global reflection on the impact of these changes at their level, through their own professional development. Beyond business processes and strategies, they will be called upon to strengthen the digital transformation of professions, environmental legislation, ethical issues, and the management of new human resources concerned with balance.

For several years now, we have welcomed a generation of students at the Geneva EMBA who are in search of different knowledge, no longer solely motivated by salary enhancement and status, but by the awareness of an immediate future in which they wish to be actors rather than spectators. And from which they expect actions more than words.

Taking a step aside, and a big step toward your destiny
This is where the Geneva EMBA finds much of its added value. Our internationally recognized program aims to develop a systemic vision, prepare innovative solutions, and build skills that promote cooperation and team-building in the new projects of the 21st century, beyond pre-established organizational doctrines. These new responsible leaders are eagerly awaited by companies across all sectors, responding to a dynamic that will intensify in the coming years.

The Geneva EMBA trains professionals from all walks of life, united in a common vision: to reveal their leadership and put it at the service of a progressive economy. This editorial, preceding the opening of applications for the 2025-2026 cohort, introduces the editorial line of our newsroom for 2025. We will dedicate ourselves to content that sheds light on the philosophy of the Geneva EMBA: exploration of syllabi, testimonials from current students, feedback from alumni, and opinions from our professors on current issues and in-depth topics.

If you also feel the need for a new professional path, clearer and more in tune with the challenges of society and your convictions, enroll in the 2025-2026 cohort!
