Admissions
The EMBA Program is designed for aspiring Business Leaders with functional or sectorial management experience seeking a career change or professional development opportunities and put their practice in perspective.
Thus, this postgraduate education welcomes participants coming from various professional backgrounds from industry to services, and from public to private sectors.
Requirements
- Admission to the program is based on the candidate’s application file; potentially qualified candidates will be contacted for an interview
- Great importance is attributed to the quality of academic record, personal motivation and relevance of the professional experience
Admission criteria:
- Bachelor Degree, or equivalent (i.e. Bac+3,… ) *
- Pertinent work experience: 3 years minimum in a managerial role (excludes training sessions, internship)
Required skills:
- Strong command of both written and spoken English
- Computer office tools (spreadsheet, word processor, presentation tools)
- Basic Accounting understanding (balance sheets/income statement, P&N, EBITDA) or ability to assimilate numbers and concepts
NOTE: Applicants should already hold a valid permit or be able to travel for the entire duration of their studies.

You will need to upload the following documents during the application process (please upload documents in pdf format – at the exception of the passport photo):
- A copy of your University diploma(s) * / **

- Work certificates or contracts, or letters from past employers *
- A copy of your passport or ID card *
- A copy of your « AVS » card or Health Insurance card

There is no application fee.

Selection Process
Admission to our program takes into account the candidate’s academic qualifications, professional experience, and other relevant criteria (i.e, motivation, willingness to invest the required time and energy to complete the program, international exposure,…).
The selection process includes 4 steps:
- Validation of application & documents submitted online
- Quality of the candidate’s dossier
- One-hour interview for admissible applications. Although it is normally conducted in person, it may be done online, if necessary
- Review of validated applications and final decision by the Directing Committee
Notification is sent to candidates by email.
Acceptance & onboarding
In order to finalize their enrollment, candidates must complete the following steps:
- Confirm their participation and settle the non-refundable CHF 5’000.- enrollment fee within 10 days of their acceptance to the EMBA
- Submit certified or notarized copies of their university diplomas and transcripts to the EMBA office
Once the above is completed, candidates receive a welcome email with the overview of the program and the program calendar as the first step of the onboarding process. The future students are offered the opportunity to join various events throughout the year such as:
- The EMBA after-class drinks at the Lady Godiva pub to meet the current students and professors,
- The Talent Synergizer, a unique opportunity to meet the most dynamic companies of the Geneva economy,
- Conference organized by the Geneva EMBA alumni association,
- The Garden Party taking place in June to celebrate the end of the academic year where alumni, current students, future students, professors and staff meet.
Logistics email with access to the online platform, along with information about the Leadership Launch in August and other administrative information is part of the onboarding process.
