Mission

Ensuring a concrete connection between cutting-edge academic courses and the realities of the Geneva ecosystem, for enabling our students to understand the challenges of various economic sectors and for leveraging their learning to become responsible leaders in action.

Governance

Scientific Committee

The Scientific Committee of the EMBA program at the University of Geneva drives and endorses the strategies for connecting the EMBA program with businesses and organizations in the Geneva ecosystem. This academic rigor is coupled with close contact with real-world practices, allowing for a better understanding of the challenges faced by different economic sectors and imagining pathways for their sustainable leadership.

Key activities

  • Welcoming courses within the organization, for confronting learning and real-life challenges from boards and executives of different branches
  • Offering high-quality guest speakers for our courses
  • Providing guidance to students during their second-year Capstone Project.
  • Sponsoring the awards of the Graduation Ceremony
  • Providing facilities for our Geneva EMBA networking events
  • Opening our students to the Geneva Ecosystem of entrepreneurs

Talent Synergizer

Organized by the EMBA of the University of Geneva with the support of the Geneva Alumni Association and HIAG, this yearly event is a unique opportunity to meet the best talents in town and the most dynamic companies of the Geneva economy.

 

Format

Embedded in the Geneva ecosystem, the Geneva EMBA plays a leading role in the organization of this event, providing unique knowledge to develop managers capable of dealing responsibly with complexity of today's business world. 

24 selected companies will be invited to share their challenges in terms of talent and skills, but also how they reflect to the needs and values of today's engaged generation.

 

Key activities

  • 12 meeting points, 24 companies, to take stock of talent needs and their involvement in the life of the company, its value and its development.

  • 12 meeting points, 48 students and alumni of the Geneva EMBA selected to take stock of their professional projects and how they will contribute to boosting their business.

  • An auditorium, all together, to discuss the current business trends and the expectations and contributions of talent.
  • An open space offering drinks, food and music to deepen conversations, and meet inspiring people

 

  • The minutes of the event will be published on the website of the Geneva EMBA
